Introducing Toyo's next-generation D.O.T. approved competition radial, the Toyo Proxes R888. In competition, the R888's improvements in casing design and the new V-Shaped tread pattern improves dry performance. It has a low void ratio to minimize tread squirm on dry tracks. The new groove design optimizes water drainage from the contact patch. It also features round tread shoulders for progressive turn-in. Casing construction and belt package designed for optimum cornering and braking grip. Fast warm up and predictable when cold.   
 
 
General Proxes R888 setup guidelines:
 

  • Operating Temperature: 60°C to 105°C, optimum around 95°C

  • Hot Inflation Pressures: High 30's to low 40's (psi)

  • Camber: -2.5° to -5.0°

  • Caster: As much positive as possible

Note: The Proxes R888 is legal for use on public roads in Australia but is designed for motorsport applications (including road/tarmac rallies).
